Our History
Engine Company 1 was chartered in 1952 as the founding company of the Millbrook Fire Department. Originally equipped with a single hand-drawn hose cart, the company has grown into a fully staffed, modern engine company protecting the central district. Engine 1 has responded to every major incident in department history and remains the backbone of first-alarm operations.
