Our History
The Junior Fire Company was established in 1988 to provide a structured pathway for motivated young adults (ages 14-18) to enter the fire service. The program covers fire science fundamentals, equipment familiarization, and community service projects. Graduates of the junior program represent over 40% of the department's current active membership.
